Prayer is the most important thing you can do for us. Addictions are conquered, broken hearts are healed, and lives are transformed and made whole through Jesus Christ. Please pray for our residents, staff, and community – that we may all glorify the Lord in every deed and action.
Every purchase made at the Thrift Ministry provides a meal to someone who’s hungry, gives a woman and her child refuge from violence, and allows a person to come to a place filled with God’s love where they can begin the process of physical, mental, and spiritual healing. The Bargain Center is located at 3375 Napier Avenue (in Macon) and is open Monday through Saturday.
We depend on donations to stay stocked on everyday items for our residents, ranging from school supplies for the children of our Women’s Division to toilet paper and cleaning supplies. Items for our Bargain Center are also in constant need; furniture, appliances, and clothing are just a few of the types of items that can be given to someone in need or sold through our thrift store to directly benefit the Mission. Consider setting up a drive at your church, school, or business to both raise awareness about the Mission and help to provide these items that are so vital.
By spreading the word about the Mission you make it your own – whether it’s talking to friends and family, inviting us to speak to your church or organization, subscribing to and sharing our monthly newsletter, following us on social media, or encouraging others to come to the Mission for a tour or to volunteer, or just raising awareness about homelessness, addiction, and domestic violence. The more people who know, the more potential for people to get involved and make a difference.
